Reports to:                                                 Managing Director

Supervisory Authority Over:                    Project Engineers

JOB PURPOSE:

The successful candidate will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Project planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop a comprehensive project management plan.
  2. Cross-functional team management: Assemble and manage a team of stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to ensure successful project execution.
  3. Management of project scheduling: create and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones, and furnish periodic progress reports.
  4. Budget management: Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  5. Management of risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
  6. Stakeholder communication: Ensure effective communication among stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team, and project
  7. Progress monitoring: tracking project progress, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  8. Quality assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  9. Regulatory compliance: Ensure projects comply with GMP, NDA, and other regulatory requirements.
  10. Preparing and submitting periodic progress reports to the Managing Director and the Senior Management Team on time.
  11. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to set deadlines.
  12. Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university;
  2. Minimum of seven (7) years’ work experience in project management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  3. Certifications in PMP, Six Sigma certification, PRINCE are preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP regulations, and project management best practices.
