JOB PURPOSE:
The successful candidate will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop a comprehensive project management plan.
- Cross-functional team management: Assemble and manage a team of stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Management of project scheduling: create and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones, and furnish periodic progress reports.
- Budget management: Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Management of risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Stakeholder communication: Ensure effective communication among stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team, and project sponsors.
- Progress monitoring: tracking project progress, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Quality assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure projects comply with GMP, NDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Preparing and submitting periodic progress reports to the Managing Director and the Senior Management Team on time.
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to set deadlines.
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university;
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ work experience in project management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Must be a Registered Engineer.
- Certifications in PMP, Six Sigma and PRINCE2 are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP regulations, and project management best practices.
